KCL R&D Centre

By developing and disseminating collagen-based products and technologies, we are working on extending human life, which is the greatest desire of humanity, and increasing living comfort. For this reason, we are developing collagen-containing materials focusing on tissue engineering and artificial organ production technologies, which are the technologies of the future.

R&D Vision

R&D focuses on developing the latest technologies to reach high quality, pure and standardized collagen. It has undertaken to contribute to the advancement of science by developing the purest form of collagen and the most advanced applications.

New generation products

An important part of our R&D Centre is developing new generation products and technologies, creating optimized solutions for different applications, and creating solutions that offer health benefits and advantage to the consumer.

High Purity Products

We transform collagen and gelatine molecules into their purest and high-quality forms with special methods, synthesize biomolecules with perfect functions and present them to the service of researchers.

Latest Research into Biomedical Solutions

Our gelatines and collagens, which are among the highest purity levels available on the market today, are evaluated in biomedical applications. In this fast-growing market, our researchers are at the forefront of research into the potential and benefits of gelatine and collagen for patients.

Analytical Method Validation

We carry out laboratory studies where we harmonize analytical methods for the determination of gelatine and collagen properties and develop or optimize analytical methods especially for gelatine matrices.
